Electric versions of the Mercedes  Smart car are currently on trial in the UK as the company look to discover test results from real life everyday use. Everything that goes up must go down according to Daimler

Mercedes-Benz has helped Daimler achieve record highs in terms of profit in the fourth quarter of last year. However it is not all good news. Daimler predicts a year of lower profits following a record high. Mercedes-Benz sales were recorded at record highs last year in the world’s largest automotive markets, China and the United States. This helped Daimler report an increase of 57 per cent in terms of profits made in the fourth quarter. In total Daimler made a profit of €1.78 billion in the fourth quarter alone. Mercedes-Benz open India’s largest luxury showroom

Mercedes-Benz has opened India’s largest luxury car showrooms in Devas Naka, which is in the city of Indore in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Tesla and Daimler to team up for a brand new Mercedes-Benz electric vehicle

Recently it has been announced that Tesla will team up with Daimler to develop a new electric Mercedes-Benz vehicle. According to Telsa’s fourth quarter earnings, they will provide an electric powertrain for the Mercedes-Benz vehicle in question. The powertrain will consist of a motor, an inverter, transmission and various software components. There are currently no details as to when the car will be released.
