Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe
Mercedes-Benz is set to release the all new GLC Coupe to replace the older GLK model, but Mercedes have said that the GLC one of a seven strong SUV range that they aim to produce. With the aim to rival the Audi Q5 and BMW X3, although Mercedes has not officially announced if the concept will go into production.
The Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe will be powered by a twin-turbo V-6 3.0-litre engine that we are told can produce 362bhp and is fitted with a nine-speed automatic gearbox and permanent 4 wheel drive system to provide the show car with great acceleration while also giving the great sound of a high-powered sports car. But depending on which transmission mode is being used will decide if the car gives the sound of a high-powered sports car or a subdued rumble.
The brand new Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe has been designed as the second generation of the current GLK model. The GLC measures at 4.73 meters in length, 2.83 meter wheel base with 21-inch alloy wheels fitted, all this combined makes it easy to differentiate between itself and the GLK model.
Although the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe will probably cost about £37,000 on release date, but no figure has been officially announced by Mercedes. But this has been viewed as a smart move by Mercedes as SUV sales growing at an outstanding pace. So far in 2015 the X4 saw a rise of 28.5% in sales in March alone, while the X6 saw a rise of 29.4% over the same period last year.
