Mercedes-Benz CLK Cabriolet review
For a car of its class, there is a surprising amount of practicality within the vehicle. Four adults will receive enough space to sit in complete comfort, with a great amount of head and leg room. The boot has quite a lot room, making it big enough for luggage or shopping. You don’t just buy the Mercedes-Benz CLK Cabriolet for its looks and performance, you buy it for how useful it is too.
As you accelerate, you can feel the car’s tremendous power in a comforting way, especially in the V6 and V8 variant engines. Taking corners at speed is quite easy thanks to its wonderful agility. Going over speed bumps in towns or driving over poorly surfaced roads will still offer comfort to everyone within.
Mercedes-Benz have offered a wide range of engines for the CLK Cabriolet.
There is a supercharged 2.0 litre Kompressor as an entry level model with either a V6 or V8. The most powerful variant is the 376 BHP 55 AMG which is sure to satisfy those who require plenty of power.
Automatic transmissions, which offer the best performance, are offered throughout the majority of models. There is no diesel option however.
As you would expect with a Mercedes-Benz car, you get a high level of standard equipment. This includes climate control, a CD player, alloy wheels on all models and a control for the fabric roof.
The car looks magnificent. Its looks sporty as well as classy at the same time, something you will rarely come across. The car is quite large in terms of length which adds to its luxurious appeal.
It is a premium car that you must pay a high price for. We believe that if you have the money to purchase the car, it is worth every penny. It’s rare to find a vehicle that drives well when accelerating and cruising, practical and looks amazing.
There are plenty more features which we could have highlighted.
